STSPIN820 Click Released

STSPIN820 click is a stepper motor driver with the PWM current control, selectable microstepping up to 256 microsteps, and a wide voltage range. It is based on the STSPIN820, a stepper motor driver from STSPIN8 series. Designed to be a bullet-proof solution for the new wave of demanding industrial applications, it integrates two full-bridges with low ON resistance, the control logic, and a full set of protection features, in a small 4x4mm QFN package. Its output stage implements the PWM current control with the fixed OFF time. The device can be used with the step motor voltage ranging from 7V up to 45V, and current up to 1.5A per bridge.

WiFi 10 Click Released

WiFi 10 click is a Click board™ that offers an ultra-low power wireless connectivity, for any IoT application. It is based on the SX-ULPAN-SB-2401, an integrated wireless LAN module, compliant with the IEEE802.11a/b/g/n wireless networking protocols, at 2.4GHz. The ULPAN-SB-2401 module comes equipped with a PCB trace antenna, but it also offers a small Hirose U. FL connector allowing an external antenna to be used for improved range. The ULPAN-SB-2401 module supports IPv4, TCP, and UDP transfer protocols. It also provides support for WPS, WPA, and WPA2 security protocols, allowing a secure connection.

Magneto 4 Click Released

Magneto 4 click is a high-resolution magnetic encoder Click board™ which allows contactless motion sensing down to 0.5µm. It features the AS5311, a complete integrated solution with Hall elements, low-noise analog front-end, and digital signal processing (DSP) sections, on the same die. Thanks to the internal DSP processing, the AS5311 can output the absolute movement detection over the serial interface as a bit stream, or as a PWM signal. The AS5311 IC also offers a high-resolution incremental output with the additional index option. The device is supposed to be used with the multi-pole magnetic strip or ring.

ECG 5 click can be used for the development of ECG and Heart-Rate (HR) applications. The Click board™ features the AD8232, an integrated bio-signal front end. This IC has many features necessary for providing accurate ECG measurements, including very high common-mode rejection ratio, high gain with DC blocking capability, adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters, integrated right leg drive (RLD), etc. Electrodes presence detection pin helps to reduce the overall power consumption, as it can be used to set the standby mode of the host MCU. The fully conditioned bio-signal is available at the analog output to be sampled by an external A/D converter.

Proximity 9 click is a very accurate and reliable proximity sensing (PS) and ambient light sensing (ALS) device, equipped with the VCNL4040, an integrated PS and ALS sensor which features the Filtron™ technology. The 940nm IRED emitter, along with the low noise analog front end, and the PS/ALS photo-sensitive elements, is integrated on the VCNL4040 IC, ensuring very accurate and reliable measurements. The proprietary Filtron™ technology provides response near to the human eye spectral response, providing the background light cancellation. The programmable interrupt engine allows for the development of an optimized firmware, reducing the MCU workload and power consumption.

Temp-hum 11 click is a temperature and humidity sensing Click board™, equipped with the HDC1080, a high accuracy digital humidity, and temperature sensor. Its key features are its low power consumption, and the measurement accuracy achieved with that much energy. The HDC1080 sensor can sense the relative humidity (RH) with the accuracy of ±2%, while the temperature can be sensed with the accuracy up to ±0.2°C. It has a 14-bit measurement resolution, and it can be operated over a wide supply voltage range, allowing it to be interfaced with both 5V and 3.3V MCUs with no additional components required.

Ambient 8 Click Released

Ambient 8 click is equipped with the ambient light sensor (ALS) IC, providing measurements of the ambient light intensity in a digital format. It utilizes the LTR-329ALS-01, an ALS with the I2C interface. Packed in a small transparent ChipLED package, this sensor can provide very accurate readings: thanks to a 16-bit and resolution and high dynamic range, it can be used in both very dim and very bright lighting conditions: it can cover the range from 0.01 lx to 64 klx. It has an excellent IR filtering and two photo-sensing elements, allowing linear response over the whole range. The flicker noise rejection algorithm further improves accuracy, while excellent thermal compensation ensures consistency of the measurement results.

Audio Amp 6 click is a mono/subwoofer audio amplifier, capable of delivering up to 18.5W per channel with the 4? load. It is based on the TPA3138D2, a class-D integrated amplifier, which utilizes a highly efficient switching scheme. With about 20mA in idle mode, it allows for longer operation and improved thermal performance, making it a perfect choice for various battery-powered applications. Advanced EMI Suppression with Spread Spectrum Control allows using ferrite bead filters instead of bulky inductors, still maintaining the required EMC levels. MIC 2 Click Released

MIC 2 click is equipped with a small electret microphone, accompanied by a suitable pre-amplifying circuit. The small electret microphone is not capable of providing sufficient line-level output; therefore, the pre-amp has to be used. The pre-amp circuit consists of a dual op-amp and a digitally controlled potentiometer IC. Thanks to the AD5171, it is possible to control the feedback loop gain of the MCP6022 op-amp over the I2C interface, in 64 discrete steps. The AD5171 digital potentiometer IC can lock-out its wiper by means of OTP fuse bit: once locked, it will permanently retain the programmed value.

Gyro 3 click is a three-axis gyroscope Click board™ that can sense motion over three perpendicular axes. It is equipped with the I3G4250, a three-axis digital gyroscope. This IC incorporates microelectromechanical sensing elements (MEMS), produced using a proprietary CMOS micromachining technology. This technology allows for excellent stability and linearity over temperature. The angular data is available in a 16-bit format, along with 8-bit temperature data. Gyro 3 click can be used for angular speed up to 2000 degrees per second (dps), it features a FIFO buffer, two dedicated interrupt lines, and on-chip data processing for optimized firmware development.

This Click board™ allows linear motion and gravitational force measurements in ranges of ±2 g, ±4 g, ±8, and ±16 g in three perpendicular axes. This smart sensor allows the Accel 11 click to detect many different events, including tap, double tap, step counting, activity recognition (walk, run, stand still), activity change (any type of acceleration pattern change), orientation, and more. Proximity 8 click is a close-range proximity sensing Click board™, equipped with the VCNL36687S, a very accurate and power-efficient proximity sensor (PS) with VCSEL. A Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser (VCSEL) is used in conjunction with the advanced analog and digital frontend circuits, which allow minimal power consumption and simplified operation. The sensor can be triggered by a single command over the I2C interface. An advanced interrupt engine allows reliable MCU interrupt triggering, featuring the programmable persistence which helps to avoid false reporting.
