Gyro 3 Click (Gyroscope)

Gyro 3 click is a three-axis gyroscope Click board™ that can sense motion over three perpendicular axes. It is equipped with the I3G4250, a three-axis digital gyroscope. This IC incorporates microelectromechanical sensing elements (MEMS), produced using a proprietary CMOS micromachining technology. This technology allows for excellent stability and linearity over temperature. The angular data is available in a 16-bit format, along with 8-bit temperature data. Gyro 3 click can be used for angular speed up to 2000 degrees per second (dps), it features a FIFO buffer, two dedicated interrupt lines, and on-chip data processing for optimized firmware development.

Gyro 3 click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.

Gyro click (Gyroscope) Gyro Click is an add-on board in the mikroBUS form factor. It features the L3GD20 three-axis digital gyroscope module, which is capable of providing the measured angular rate as well as the ambient temperature. The L3GD20 has a full scale of ±250 / ±500 / ±2000 dps and is capable of measuring rates with a user-selectable bandwidth. Gyro Click communicates with the target board microcontroller via mikroBUS SPI (MOSI, MISO, SCK, CS), I2C (SDA, SCL), INT and RST lines. The board is designed to use a 3.3V power supply only. All these features make this board ideal for gaming and virtual reality input devices, motion control, GPS navigation systems and more.

The Gyro 2 click is a three-axis digital angular rate sensor which can sense the angular movement and velocity in three perpendicular axes. The Click board™ is equipped with the FXAS21002C, a three-axis integrated angular rate gyroscope. This gyroscope IC features a very good sensitivity-to-range ratio, allowing it to achieve the resolution of 0.0625 °/s, while operating in the ±2000 °/s Full-Scale Range (FSR) mode. The full-scale range can be dynamically changed in several discrete steps, providing optimal performance for the application-specific conditions: lower FSR results in enhanced sensitivity.

It comes in the package which also includes the mikroSDK™ software and a library with all the functions. The Click board™ comes as a fully tested and approved prototype, making it a reliable device ready to use on the development board.

The gyroscope has a sensitivity up to 131 LSBs and a full-scale range of ±250, ±500, ±1000, and ±2000dps. The accelerometer has a programmable full scale range of ±2g, ±4g, ±8g and ±16g.
