New Breeze A Bootloader

The bootloader for our Breeze A boards has been completely rewritten, in VB.net. Amongst other things, this enables compatibility with Windows 8. RS232 click Released

RS232 click is a simple solution for adding RS232 connectivity to your design. RS232 is a serial communications standard mostly used for industrial machines, networking equipment and scientific instruments, as well as for computer peripherals. The board features a standard RS232 DB9 port and a MAX3232 IC, along with a mikroBUS host socket, three jumpers and a power indicator LED. RS232 click communicates with the target board via mikroBUS RX (RXD), TX (TXD), CS (RTS), and INT (CTS) lines. RS232 click is designed to use either a 3.3V or 5V power supply.

Arduino UNO click Shield Released

Arduino Uno click shield is an extension for Arduino Uno and any other Arduino-compatible board. It's a simple shield with two mikroBUS host sockets that allow you to connect more than 75 different types of click boards to the Arduino. Quickly add functionalities like GSM, GPS, WiFi, ZigBee, Bluetooth, or thunder detection, proximity and color sensing and so on. Software examples for click boards for MikroElektronika compilers are available on Libstock, giving you a repository of working code to use as it is, or as a starting point for your own projects. The package includes two 1x8 headers, and single 1x10, and 1x6 headers.

MPU IMU click (Accel, Gyro, Fusion) Released

MPU IMU click carries the MPU-6000 integrated 6-axis motion tracking device, which combines a 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer, and a DMT (Digital Motion Processor) into a single small chip. The gyroscope has a sensitivity up to 131 LSBs and a full-scale range of ±250, ±500, ±1000, and ±2000dps. The accelerometer has a programmable full scale range of ±2g, ±4g, ±8g and ±16g. It communicates with the target board through SPI, I2C, RST and INT lines. The board is designed to use a 3.3V power supply only. An LED diode serves as a power indicator.

PS/2 click Released

PS/2 click is a cost-effective solution for adding keyboard and mouse connectivity to your design. It features a standard 6-pin Mini-DIN PS/2 connector, a mikroBUS host socket, and a power indicator LED. PS/2 click communicates with the target board through mikroBUS RST (data) and CS (clock) pins, and the board is designed to use a 5V power supply only.
Tip: PS/2 keyboards support full N-key rollover, which is the ability of the keyboard to handle any number of simultaneous keystrokes!

SpeakUp click Released

The SpeakUp click is a speaker dependent speech recognition accessory board, which also has the ability to run standalone (no external microcontroller needed). It can be programmed to recognize over 200 different voice commands, which the onboard STM32F415RG MCU can react to. It works by matching sounds with pre-recorded commands. The firmware is based on the DTW speech recognition alghoritm, which enables fast operation with instant recognition. Sound is received through an onboard microphone and then processed by a VS1053 IC with a built in stereo-audio codec. The SpeakUp comes with a dedicated software tool for easy configuration. The board is lined with 12 user programmable GPIOs for standalone functionality, and can also be connected to a mikroBUS host socket, with communcation via SPI, I2C or UART.

tRF click Released

tRF Click is an add-on board in the mikroBUS form factor. It can be used to wirelessly send and receive UART data. It features the Telit LE70-868 868MHz transceiver module with an embedded stack that is easy to integrate and use in point-to-point or star network topologies. The click board also carries an SMA connector for an antenna as well as two radio communication LEDs. It enables radio data rates from 4.8 to 57.6 kbps with maximum output power of 500mW and a range of up to 10km in ideal conditions (open space), and about 4km in mixed conditions. The board is designed to use a 3.3V power supply only. An LED diode serves as a power indicator.

mikroMedia 5" for Tiva Shield Released

Expand the base functionality of your mikromedia 5 for Tiva with a shield that features 4 mikroBUS host sockets. Easily add among 70+ Click boards, including, ZigBee, RS485, and and a whole range of other, more unusual functionalities, like thunder detection, proximity and color sensing etc. The shield also provides a physical layer for CAN interface, as well as a FT232R USB-UART module. Two separate 1x26 pin female sockets come with the board package.

CC3000 click (WiFi) Released

CC3000 click is an add-on board in the mikroBUS form factor. It features the CC3000MOD WiFi module, as well as a ceramic antenna, for adding WiFi functionality without requiring too much Wi-Fi or RF expertise. The Texas Instruments CC3000MOD integrates the IPv4 TCP/IP stack with built-in network protocols (ARP, ICMP, DHCP client and DNS client). This simplifies connection to local networks and/or the Internet, while minimizing software requirements for the target board MCU. The CC3000 click enables OFDM rates from 1 to 54 Mbps in the 2.4-GHz ISM band. CC3000 also has integrated EEPROM memory. The ceramic antenna has a maximum range of about 70 meters in open space. The board is designed to operate on a 3.3V supply only, and communicates via a SPI interface.

New Product: 4DLCD-FT843

The 4DLCD-FT843 features a 4.3" display with resistive touch panel, and integrated FTDI FT800 Video Engine with SPI interface. The FT800 is like a "graphics card" for microcontrollers - it offloads all the work of running a display to a separate, fast and powerful controller, making it possible to have great graphics with low-cost microcontrollers.

Note: This product uses an FFC connector. You will need either a matching connector on your board, or a breakout board, in order to connect to the display.

STEPPER click is a stepper motor driver board in the mikroBUS form factor. It features the A3967SLBT microstepping motor driver, with a built-in translator for easily driving bipolar steper motors in full-, half-, quarter- and eighth-step modes with output drive capability of 30V and about ±500 mA. The package includes a standard B5B-XH-A connector (delivered unsoldered) for easily connecting your stepper motor. The motor can be powered from either the 5V mikroBus line, or from an external power supply (5-30V) using the provided screw terminal connector. The board can communicate with either 3.3V or 5V systems (selection by means of SMD jumper). An LED diode serves as a power indicator.

Pi click Shield (for Raspberry Pi) Released

Pi click shield is an extension for Raspberry Pi, the low-cost mini-computer. It's a simple shield with a mikroBUS host socket to facilitate easy connection of the Raspberry Pi with more than 70 different types of click boards. The click board enhanced Pi can have GSM, GPS, WiFi, ZigBee, Bluetooth and a whole range of other, more unusual functionalities, like thunder detection, proximity and color sensing etc. Software examples for click Boards are available on Libstock, giving you a repository of working code to use as it is, or as a starting point for your own projects. The package includes two 1x8 and a single 2x13 female socket, as well as a 12mm distancer with two screws.

DC Motor click Released

DC MOTOR click is a DC motor driver board in the mikroBUS form factor. It features the DRV8833RTY H-Bridge motor driver, 74HC4053 multiplexer and two screw terminals. The 74HC4053 IC is incorporated into the design so that the motor can be run using only the one PWM line available on the mikroBUS socket. DC MOTOR click communicates with the target board via SELECT1, SELECT2 and nSLEEP control lines; PWM input line and nFAULT feedback line. The board is designed to use either a 3.3V or 5V power supply. It can be powered from the mikroBUS socket, or externally through the CN2 screw terminals (3-10V). It is limited to a 0.9A driving current and has a 0.22R current sense resistor. The motor is connected to the CN1 screw terminal.
