UPS click Released

UPS click is a supercapacitor charger click that provides continuous power for a load connected to the output terminals. It also provides a temporary backup power supply in cases when the main power supply is abruptly disconnected - hence its name - UPS click. Besides backup function, it also provides a power for the applications with high peak power requirements, such as LED flashes, PCMCIA TX bursts, HDD bursts, GPRS/GSM transmitters and similar. UPS click uses two 3.3F supercapacitors connected in series, which are used as a temporary power storage banks.

Heart Rate 5 click is the optical biosensor Click board™ which can be used for the heart-rate monitoring (HRM), as well as the peripheral capillary oxygen saturation monitoring (SpO2). This Click board™ employs a very sensitive analog front-end IC with high dynamic range, which ensures accurate and reliable readings. This analog front-end IC is coupled with the optical front end, which consists of the top-of-the-class integrated BIOFY® sensor, which features two green LEDs, one red LED, one infrared LED, and two photodiodes (PD), offering very accurate HRM and SpO2 readings.

Temp-Log 2 click Released

Temp-Log 2 click is a precise ambient temperature measurement device, equipped with the additional non-volatile (EEPROM) memory that can be used to permanently store system configuration, and 64 bits of general-purpose EEPROM, used for logging application specific or user preference data. This click covers a range of temperatures from -55°C to +125°C with the highest accuracy of ±0.2°C, in the range of -10°C to 85°C, exceeding the accuracy of CLASS A RTD. The device can also send an ALERT signal to the INT pin of the mikroBUS™ every time programmed temperature thresholds are exceeded.

H-Bridge 2 click Released

H-Bridge 2 click can be used to drive a motor by utilizing a specific configuration of the output stage MOSFETs, known as the H-bridge. This configuration enables H-Bridge 2 click to drive a motor with up to 1.2A and 15V, providing control of the speed and direction, as well as the dynamic (rheostatic) braking capability. The Click board™ uses a monolithic H-bridge IC, which implements a set of features that provide trouble-free operation of the connected motor, such as the undervoltage detection, shoot-through current protection, efficient output stage MOSFETs with low RDSON, level shifted output for an external MOSFET control and more.

Heart Rate 7 click is an optical biosensor Click board™ which can be used for heart-rate monitoring (HRM). This Click board™ employs a very sensitive analog front-end IC with high dynamic range, which ensures accurate and reliable readings. This analog front-end IC is coupled with the optical front end, which consists of a sensitive photo-diode (PD) and two high brightness green LEDs. The photo-diode is the most sensitive to a visible light spectrum, offering reasonably high current output compared to other, standard type PD elements used so far, thus providing very accurate HRM readings.

PLL click Released

PLL click is a frequency multiplier which uses the Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) techniques to provide a high-frequency clock output from a cheap, standard fundamental mode crystal oscillator. In addition to this, PLL click also offers a choice between nine different multiplication factors, programmed via states of the two input pins. The output range of the PLL click goes up to 160MHz.

Buck 8 click Released

Buck 8 click is a high efficiency, wide voltage range, and high current synchronous step down (buck) DC-DC converter, featuring two enhanced modes that can be used to drive lighter loads with increased efficiency. The output voltage can be adjusted by the multi-turn trimmer potentiometer. Since the output voltage is set mechanically, it will retain the set value, even after the restart. Very high efficiency results with the reduced power dissipation, thus allowing reasonably high power to be delivered to the load, connected to the output terminal. Internal feedback compensation across the whole voltage range allows lower number of external components.

The BBC micro:bit is a credit card sized microcontroller development system, with a very simple and user-friendly visual programming interface, designed to introduce the kids to the world of embedded electronics. The micro:bit project is managed by the micro:bit Educational Foundation. This foundation is a non-profit organization with a very noble goal: giving children around the world a chance to get creative with the technology. However, this little development system can be interesting even for more experienced developers, because in its heart, there is a powerful nRF51822 MCU, a 16 MHz ARM Cortex-M0 microcontroller with 256 KB Flash and 16 KB RAM, beating. By inserting this ingeniously designed symmetrical development board into the micro:bit Click adapter, the world of possibilities grows exponentially: more than 400 different sensors, displays, drivers, radios, buttons, switches, faders, encoders, relays, converters, and more - neatly packed into the standardized Click boardâ„¢ form factor, will be just under your fingertips. Touch Key 4 click is a capacitive touch sensing Click board™, with the advanced touch/proximity sensor IC. Hall current 2 click Released

Hall current 2 click is a very accurate current measurement Click board™, which relies on the Hall effect. Its most distinctive feature is a very low series resistance of only 1.2m?, making this device a nearly-perfect ampere meter. The maximum current which can be measured with the Hall current 2 ranges from -12A to +12A, with optimized precision. The measurement is thermally compensated and conditioned by the integrated sections of the hall sensor IC. The result is available via the I2C interface of the high precision, 12 bit AD converter, as well as in the analog form, from the analog pin of the microBUS™, directly from the Hall effect current sensor IC. This click board does not require any current sensing resistors.

Hall Switch click is a magnetic field activated dual-relay Click board™. Hall Switch click has two high-quality relays, which are activated by the Hall-effect sensor: when the north pole magnetic field is introduced to the sensor, one of the relays will be activated; when the south pole magnetic field is introduced to the sensor, the other relay will be activated. Two high-quality compact relays allow switching of high voltages - up to 220V, so they can cut or establish a connection on the main side of the circuit.

Proximity 5 click is a very accurate and reliable proximity sensing (PS) and ambient light sensing (ALS) device, equipped with the state-of-the-art PS and ALS sensor. The signal processing and conditioning section, three IR LED drivers, and the low noise analog front end with the PS and ALS photo-sensitive elements, are all integrated into the sensor IC, ensuring very accurate and reliable readings, while reducing the workload of the host MCU. The proprietary Filtron™ technology provides near-human eye light spectrum sensitivity and top-class background light cancellation scheme for the ALS section, additionally reducing the workload of the MCU. Buck 3 click is a very advanced synchronous step-down (buck) converter, which is designed to deliver noise and ripple-free voltage to highly sensitive applications, such as FPGA and high-performance DSP platforms. The onboard step-down converter IC integrates low RDSON MOSFETs, that allow high efficiency, and thus high current on the output - up to 8A. Buck 3 operates at 800kHz, allowing an optimal balance between the efficiency and the size of the used components. DCM mode ensures that the efficiency is maintained even while working with light loads.

Spectral 3 click is a multispectral sensing device, which uses the state-of-the-art sensor IC for a very accurate near-IR (NIR) sensing. The sensor on the Spectral 3 click provides multi-spectral sensing in the NIR wavelengths from approximately 610nm to 860nm with the full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 20nm. Spectral 3 click provides a direct reading of the six different channels with the 16bit precision, as well as the calibrated reading, that gives 32bit float values with an 8bit biased exponent and a 23bit fraction part, processed through the Spectral ID engine. An XYZ Chromatic White Color Sensor

Spectral click is a multispectral light sensing device, which uses the state-of-the-art sensor IC for a very accurate chromatic white color sensing. Spectral click provides a direct reading of the XYZ color coordinates, consistent with the CIE 1931 2° Standard Observer color coordinates. It provides mapping of the XYZ coordinates to the x, y (Y) coordinates of the two-dimensional color gamut, and it scales them to the CIE 1976 u'v' coordinate system. This click board also provides accurate Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) measurements and color point deviation from the black body curve for white light color, in u'v' coordinate system. Additionally, Spectral click features the Near-IR (NIR) wavelengths sensing channel, as well as two programmable LED channels with a constant current.

Barcode click is a very fast and agile barcode scanner on a click board™, which is compliant with a wide range of different 1D and 2D barcode protocols. Short range infrared sensor

IR Sense 2 click is the infrared sensor Click board™, designed to be used for the short range IR sensing applications. Unlike other pyroelectric sensors, it is able to sense environmental heat changes up to 1m, even through the glass. IR Sense 2 click is perfectly suited for human presence detection, so it can be used in many human presence detection applications. A programmable interrupt engine simplifies the software development and saves MCU cycles, that would be otherwise wasted on polling. The ability to sense IR through the glass allows an unconstrained design of the final product.
