Programming is one of the most in demand skills in the world and that is only set to increase. Learning how to develop software and build electronic machines allows a significant advantage both within the workplace and in independent business.<\/p>

A good programmer not only has a high earning potential but has opportunities to work all over the world, and as a freelance developer from almost anywhere in the world. It is a career which is continually developing and growing. Programmers create the technology which does everything from designing your smart home to solving world wide health problems.\u00a0<\/p>

Current education systems are producing more and more degree level graduates each year. This makes it that much more difficult to stand out on an academic basis alone. A programming student – once they have the basics – can go on to develop their skills without any need for additional formal education – indeed, many of the top developers in the world were (and still are) ‘self taught’. Bill Gates, for example, learned how to write software in his school lunch breaks. Other ‘self-taught’ programmers include; Elon Musk –\u00a0 Entrepreneur, Mark Zuckerberg – Founder of Facebook, Margaret Hamilton – key software engineer for the Apollo Space Programme, Jack Dorsey – Co founder of Twitter, Steve Wozniak – built the first Apple computer, and Fran Allen – Nobel Prize winner for computer science. Most of these people started programming between the ages of 10 and 15. It is with this in mind that we want to introduce programming and make it more accessible at an early age to the new generation of software developers.<\/p>

This introductory course is designed to allow anyone who is interested in programming to get a good head start in developing their skills, and no prior programming knowledge at all is required. In-fact, there is no reason why parents cannot learn alongside their children. As you progress through the course you increase your knowledge as you go. The outcome of this course should leave the learner with a solid base from which to build their knowledge and develop in any direction they choose.<\/p>

The Course is based on the latest software from British Software Company\u00a0Labcenter Electronics<\/a>. Labcenter have been at the forefront of Electronic Design Automation (also known as Electronics Computer Aided Design – ECAD) for 25 years. The recent introduction of their Visual Designer software was designed to go back to the roots of development, offering a platform to those wishing to enter the industry.\u00a0<\/p>
